LGBTQ+ Practice Group
Mission
The LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender) Practice Group of the Columbus Bar Association seeks to bring together lawyers and legal professionals interested in the different facets of the LGBTQ+ community: those who represent members of the LGBTQ+ community, those who are members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those who share an interest in the laws and public policies related to the LGBTQ+ community. In an effort to better serve clients and the profession, the members of the LGBTQ+ Committee join together to share ideas and to update Columbus Bar members on topics of concern to all who participate in the field of LGBTQ+ law or deal with LGBTQ+ legal and public policy issues.
The LGBTQ+ Practice Group also seeks to create networking, social and mentoring opportunities and support systems within the LGBTQ= law community to help practice group members build successful and rewarding professional lives.
