Minorities in the Law Professional Development Network

Mission

The primary purpose of the Minorities in the Law Professional Development Network is to facilitate and guide the Minority Clerkship Program; a clerkship program for minority students at The Ohio State University School of Law and Capital University Law School.

A Message from the Professional Development Network Chairs

The Minorities in the Law Professional Development Network works to increase diversity in the local legal profession through the facilitation of the Minority Clerkship Program (MCP) which is a CBA program assisting local, minority law students in their quest for equal access to meaningful summer clerkships. All CBA members interested in increasing racial and ethnic diversity in the Columbus legal profession are encouraged to join us. We meet monthly to make crucial decisions about the MCP and depend on committee members to help facilitate and actively shape the program. We also provide programming that addresses pressing legal issues affecting attorneys of color.
