The Columbus Bar Foundation is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations and community programs working to advance justice, legal education, and public understanding of the law.

The 2026 grant cycle opens Monday, September 14, 2026, offering organizations an opportunity to secure funding for projects that expand access to justice and make a meaningful difference in the Central Ohio community.

For more than seven decades, the Columbus Bar Foundation has invested in organizations and ideas that strengthen our community. Foundation grants have supported legal services, civic engagement, legal education, and programs that connect underserved populations with critical legal resources.

Whether you're launching a new initiative, expanding a successful program, or finding a better way to meet an unmet community need, we want to hear what you're working on.

Organizations are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and begin preparing applications now.
