Fellows’ Day in the Community: Serving with Purpose

Service isn’t just something we talk about — it’s who we are.

For this year’s Fellows’ Day in the Community, our Fellows stepped away from their usual responsibilities and into service at the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Together, by rolling up their sleeves to sort and organize food donations, they directly supported efforts to fight hunger across our region .

The experience was a powerful reminder that impact doesn’t always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it’s the steady, collective effort — box by box, item by item — that makes the greatest difference. Each sorted can and prepared package represents meals for families, children, and seniors throughout our community.

Beyond the hands-on work, the day reinforced our shared commitment of strengthening the communities we call home. It was an opportunity to serve side by side, deepen connections with one another, and live out the values that define us.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Mid-Ohio Food Collective and proud of our Fellows for embodying the spirit of service. When we come together with purpose, small actions truly do create meaningful change.
