The Columbus Bar Association’s Minority Clerkship Program (MCP) is now accepting interest from participating employers and law students for the 2027 summer clerkship program. The program connects first- and second-year law students with local law firms, government agencies, and corporate offices for paid summer clerkships.
Employers: The employer commitment deadline is Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 5 p.m., with additional program milestones beginning in October.
Students: Students interested in participating must first attend one of the mandatory information sessions held in November. Attendance is required before students can receive the application and begin the application process. The application opens Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at noon, and completed applications are due Wednesday, January 6, 2027, by 11:59 p.m. Students must also attend the mandatory skills workshop and orientation on Saturday, January 23, 2027. Make-up sessions are not provided.
