Columbus Bar Foundation – Holiday Fundraising Campaign | December 12–24
The season of giving has arrived, and this year the Columbus Bar Foundation is celebrating in a big, bold, and brand-new way! Join us for 12 Days of Christmas: A Dozen Days of Donor Impact. A festive fundraising campaign designed to bring our legal community together in support of one shared mission: expanding access to justice for all.
From December 12 through Christmas Eve, we’ll be highlighting stories of impact, issuing fun challenges, unlocking matching gifts, and rallying donors across Central Ohio. With just 12 days to raise $12,000, every gift, large or small, directly fuels the Foundation’s work for those who need it most.
This is your chance to make a difference and enjoy the holiday spirit of generosity, community, and friendly competition. Let’s make justice a gift everyone can access this season.
Campaign Goals:
• Raise $12,000 for access-to-justice initiatives
• Boost donor participation across the legal community
• Spark friendly law firm competitions
• Highlight the Foundation’s impact through real stories
• Strengthen community partnerships during the season of giving
12 Days of Impact: Here’s What’s Coming!
Day 1 – Campaign Kickoff: A powerful “Why I Support the Foundation” message from our Board President Lisa Eschleman. Be part of the excitement: the first 50 donors will be entered into a special holiday raffle to win a gift card.
Day 2 – Personal Donor Outreach: Help by reaching out to your friends and colleagues with a quick call or email about donating to the CBF. Spark a powerful impact.
Day 3 – Impact Story Day: We’ll share a real story from our community that shows your donor dollars in action. Help us spread the message by sharing the post!
Day 4 – Matching Gift Day: Your gift doubles! A generous partner will match donations up to a set amount. Today is the day to make your dollars go further.
Day 5 – “Give $12 for 12 Days”: A simple, meaningful challenge: donate $12 to represent each day of impact. Then challenge 12 colleagues to do the same.
Day 6 – The Coffee Break Appeal: Skip your latte; fuel justice. A lighthearted social push to encourage supporters to donate the cost of one coffee to the Foundation.
Day 7 – Law Firm Participation Challenge: Which firm can rally the highest number of donors? Help your team climb to the top of the leaderboard! Get YOUR firm involved.
Day 8 – Midpoint Momentum: We’ll share where we stand and issue a call to help close the gap. Let’s keep the magic of the holidays going!
Day 9 – Tribute & Honor Giving: Celebrate mentors, colleagues, and loved ones with a gift in their honor. Each tribute will be highlighted on the CBF’s social media platforms.
Day 10 – “Random Act of Justice” 10x10 Challenge: At 10:00 AM, on the 10th day, we’re calling on supporters to donate $100 to unleash a surge of generosity.
Day 11 – Law Firm $500 Frenzy: Firms compete to see who can donate the highest total and engage the biggest number of individual donors to donate $500 today.
Day 12 – Christmas Eve Finale: A heartfelt message of gratitude closes out the campaign. Help us cross the finish line strong before midnight!
