Access to Justice is Our Mission
Our mission is supporting the legal profession and access to justice in central Ohio.
The Columbus Bar Foundation, in its relatively short history, has made over $4 million in grants. It is a 501c(3) organization and is classified as a 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) public charity that, in partnership with Columbus Bar Association, is committed to supporting:
- Lawyers in need due to serious illness or tragic circumstances
- Legal services for indigent clients through grants to the Legal Aid Society, Community Mediation Services, Franklin County Municipal Court Self Help Center Resource Center and more
- Professionalism within the legal community through sophisticated CLE in partnership with the CBA
