Columbus Bar Association 2022 Judicial Preference Poll Results Announced

There are eight contested judicial races being decided on November 8, 2022 in Franklin County for seats on the Franklin County Common Pleas Court, General Division; Franklin County Common Pleas Court, Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division; and the Tenth District Court of Appeals.

Earlier this month, central Ohio attorneys were asked to indicate the candidate they preferred in each race. Polling ballots were sent to 5,775 attorneys in Franklin County and a total of 393 votes were cast. The poll was conducted online by Simply Voting and a statement included with the ballot requested that attorneys without “sufficient current knowledge or information about the candidates” abstain from voting in the poll.
