Mission

The Non-Profit/Tax-Exempt Organizations Committee will provide a forum for in-house, law firm and government attorneys to discuss issues relevant and unique to nonprofit/tax-exempt organizations. The group will entertain discussions regarding issues facing the nonprofit industry and will help create a stronger stewardship among those whose practices serve these organizations.

A Message from the Non-Profit/Tax-Exempt Organization Committee Chair

“The Non-Profit Committee covers a lot of ground. Our members' nonprofit clients range from little social service agencies to community foundations to educational institutions to huge research institutions, and their expertises span virtually every area of law, Our mission is quite simply to draw on that diversity of expertises to enhance each member's ability to serve his or her nonprofit clients, in turn benefitting those clients as well. Ours is a relatively new committee and we hope not only to have good speakers and good discussion, but also to think outside the box a little and come up with new and creative ways to build our group. Come be part of it.”

William A. Nolan - Committee Chair - Attorney at Law
