The Labor & Employment Law Committee of the Columbus Bar Association seeks to bring together lawyers from every facet of labor and employment law-those involved in both the public and private sectors, those who represent both plaintiffs and defendants, those whose practice is focused on either labor or employment law. In an effort to better serve our clients and our profession, we join together regularly to share ideas and update our knowledge on topics of concern to all who participate in the field of labor and employment law.
A Message from the Labor & Employment Law Committee Chair
“From public sector labor law reform to legal opinions impacting
the "at will" nature of employment in Ohio, this year is expected to bring
further changes to this dynamic practice area! As Chair, I am committed
to continuing to offer high caliber, relevant information and presentations
to the Committee. Please consider joining some of the best and most respected
employment and labor law practitioners in the state during our monthly meetings.
Our meetings are a great opportunity to network, debate new and expanding
employment law issues of the day, and hear from leading professionals on
cutting edge employment law issues. The Committee also offers CLE opportunities
where members can earn CLE credits and get in-depth analysis of emerging
issues. Our meetings and CLEs are informative and entertaining and our members
are always collegial and friendly, regardless of the side of the bar on
which they practice. ”
