Notary Public

Mission

The Notary Public Committee of the Franklin County Common Pleas Court shall assist the Court in performance of its duties pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Chapter 147, and as further set forth in Franklin County Common Pleas Court Local Rule 97 which assistance consists of two principal activities (1) The Committee shall expeditiously process, and report to the Court on, applications for appointment to the office of notary public. (2) The Committee shall promptly respond to information which it receives that any other notary public is allegedly improperly exercising his or her office or powers in Franklin County.
