Labor & Employment Law Committee

Mission

The Labor & Employment Law Committee of the Columbus Bar Association seeks to bring together lawyers from every facet of labor and employment law-those involved in both the public and private sectors, those who represent both plaintiffs and defendants, those whose practice is focused on either labor or employment law. In an effort to better serve our clients and our profession, we join together regularly to share ideas and update our knowledge on topics of concern to all who participate in the field of labor and employment law.

A Message from the Committee Chair:

We tell people that you just can’t make this stuff up. We tell people that labor and employment lawyers have the best stories. And we do! But we also have amazing potential to make a difference. Whether it’s training supervisors, working with companies to do things the right way, or helping employees whose rights have been impacted, we get to wade in every day and provide context, advice, and solace. This year, my goal is to provide programming that helps each committee member find new great stories to tell that prove labor and employment law is the ultimate backstage pass.
