Foreign-born residents are 9.3% of entire population of Columbus and the local refugee community supports an estimated 21,000 jobs in the city. Due to size and workforce participation, foreign-born population of Columbus contributes $3 billion in spending power and $1.2 billion in taxes (income, property, sales).
