3.0 CLE Hours • Event #180925OT • CLE Easy Pass Eligible
M: $135/$150 • NM: $185/$200 • Paralegal/Non-Attorney: $105/$120

Program Overview:

Sustained combat on the battlefield and in the courtroom comes at a huge personal cost. Lawyers are almost 75% more likely to suffer from depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and disengagement than the general public. How can we, in the legal profession, learn from the military? They've engaged in active resilience training since the time of our founding fathers. This event will put resilience training into historical perspective (concentrating on Abraham Lincoln and the modern-day U.S. military) – and teach us 14 concrete skills to achieve maximum psychological competence.

The Ever Popular Historian: Honorable Frank J. Williams (Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice, Retired); and David Shearon, J.D., MAPP (Thriving Lawyers Institute)
