Candidate Recruiting and Referral

The Columbus Bar is pleased to announce its new alignment with a world leader in employment services for more than 60 years. This new partnership with the Experis division of the ManpowerGroup will allow the Columbus Bar to expand its existing law office staffing services to match attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other professionals (including IT, financial and accounting) with firms seeking uniquely qualified talent.

Experis will provide the following services on behalf of employers seeking talent:

  • recruit, interview and screen candidates
  • maintain personnel and payroll records
  • pay, withhold and transmit payroll taxes
  • make unemployment contributions
  • handle unemployment and workers' compensation claims
Law firms needing to add talent to their staff - on a full-time, part-time, temporary or contract basis - can contact the Columbus Bar Association or Experis. Bruce Rowles, Experis Sr. Recruiter, is the dedicated point of contact for Columbus Bar members. He can be reached at 614/223.2316 or bruce.rowles@experis.com.

Direct Hire

Experis recruits and refers candidates to our clients for direct hire by providing them resumes and/or candidate profiles. All decisions concerning offers of employment are to be made by our client according to our client's business needs. Experis charges 15% of the first year's annual salary for direct hires. Except for a client initiated reduction in workforce, elimination of the position or insufficient work for the candidate, if a candidate hired by our client is not longer employed by our client 30 calendar days after the candidate's start date, Experis on a one-time basis will use its best efforts to replace the candidate at no additional cost. We provide all clients, for their signature, a services agreement describing all responsibilities prior to accepting a direct hire assignment.

Warranty for Temporary Staffing Services

In the event that Experis removes a Consultant pursuant to Section 2 of the Fast Track Agreement, Client will be relieved of the obligation to pay for the first eight (8) hours of work performed by that Consultant.
