Consumer Debt Clinics

The Consumer Debt Clinic is held the third Tuesday of every month beginning at 3:00pm at the Legal Aid Society.

The clinic begins with a PowerPoint presentation detailing the process for a debt collection case. After the presentation, participants interested in bankruptcy information have the option to attend a break-out session with a bankruptcy attorney. All attendees, who so desire, are able to meet with an attorney one-on-one to write an answer and ask case-specific questions.

The clinic is only for informational purposes and for assistance in writing an answer. Although the participant will meet with an attorney, it is for advice and counsel, not full representation.
