What is Columbus Bar Friday?

Inside this weekly member newspaper you'll find a variety of association news stories, including member profiles, committee activity, upcoming events, new member benefits, Foundation updates and more. Columbus Bar Friday is published in the Friday edition of The Daily Reporter.

Write for Columbus Bar Friday

Deadline for publication is noon Monday for the Friday edition. If you have an article you would like to submit, please contact the Columbus Bar at 614/221.4112 or cbatoday@cbalaw.org, at least two weeks in advance. Article length should be approximately 350-500 words.

Serving Notice is a forum where Columbus Bar members may alert readers to changes in their careers, such as new positions, office relocations, awards and other professional accomplishments at no cost. To submit items for publication on the website and in Columbus Bar Friday, email cbatoday@cbalaw.org or mail to Communications Coordinator, Columbus Bar Association, 175 S. Third St., Ste. 1100, Columbus, OH 43215. We reserve the right to edit all announcements. The deadline is noon the week of publication. No guarantees are made as to date of publication. Photos will be included on a space-available basis.

If you are a committee chair and would like to list your meeting information, please contact Donna Sweet at 614/221.4112 or committees@cbalaw.org at least two weeks in advance of the meeting date. The deadline is noon the week of publication.

Attorney job postings

Postings must be submitted by Monday at noon (to be included in that week’s Columbus Bar Friday). Submissions may be sent by email to cbatoday@cbalaw.org.

Postings are accepted for any position requiring a law degree within government agencies, law firms, corporations and/or non-profits. Postings are also accepted from attorneys seeking work in government agencies, law firms, corporations and/or non-profits. Submissions should be made in the standard classified ad style.

Job postings will appear in Columbus Bar Friday for two consecutive weeks unless otherwise requested. These postings will also be included on the Columbus Bar’s website. Blind boxes are available by request. There is no charge for posting a position.
