The International Law Committee will bring attorneys together to share information and discuss the implications of international law and practice. The meeting topics will be diverse and will include conversations such as the domestic practice of law within international corporations, corporate employment law mandates and the challenges when international employees make up part of the workforce; immigration issues and the growing concern of global protocols on domestic immigration law practice; international financial transactions and the resulting tax issues.
A Message from the International Law Committee Chair
“I am proud and excited to have the opportunity to lead the new International Law Committee for the Columbus Bar. I envision the International Law Committee not only as a great resource for Central Ohio practitioners, a first point of reference for research questions, but also as an educational tool for law students who may consider entering the international arena. A very warm welcome to anybody with an interest in international law. Please join us for an upcoming meeting.”
