A Message from the Employee Benefits Committee Chair

“The next year is expected to bring significant changes to the laws affecting employee benefits of all types. From health insurance to executive compensation, there will be a series of new rules and regulations for employee benefits attorneys to deal with. As with any new rules, there will be many possible interpretations that will affect the way attorneys counsel their clients. Our Committee will provide monthly forums where the benefits attorneys in our community can come together and share ideas concerning these rules and regulations and other topics of interest in the benefits world. My hope as this year's chairman is to make our monthly forums interesting and well attended, so that we can all learn from each other and, in turn, improve the counsel and advice that we provide to our clients.”
