A Message from the Consumer Financial Services and Banking Committee Chair

“Welcome to the new Consumer Financial Services and Banking Law Committee page! The Committee kicked off with its first meeting in July 2009. The Committee plans to meet the second Thursday of each month. This is an exciting and challenging time for the consumer financial services and banking industry with sweeping legislative and regulatory changes following on the heels of the country's financial crisis. The hope is that the Committee will provide a place for practitioners to sort through new law changes, hear interesting speakers and establish another channel of communication with one another. Please feel free to offer suggestions on meeting and speaker topics and, of course, stop by a meeting!”
