A Message from the Bankruptcy Committee Chair

“I first chaired this Committee in 1995 fresh out of a clerkship with Judge Sellers. During the intervening 15 years, the Committee has evolved with new faces joining and new issues developing with the various changes to the bankruptcy laws. For this year, we have some exciting continuing education programs planned, including a 3 part Nuts & Bolts program that has been re-tooled, and of course the annual Bankruptcy Law Institute to be held in the Spring of 2011. Our monthly lunch meetings provide a casual atmosphere to get together, catch up on current issues, cases and trends as well as enjoy a speaker/topic not otherwise covered in our CLE programs. Even if bankruptcy is only a small part of your practice or crops up in your other work occasionally, please feel free to join us for our monthly meetings, and/or contact me for additional information on the CLE programs planned for this year.”
