The Columbus Bar Foundation and Columbus Bar Association have jointly reinstituted the Visitation Committee. The purpose of the committee is twofold; to demonstrate collegial and humanitarian concern for Central Ohio lawyers with serious illnesses and to family members of deceased attorneys.
A Message from the Visitation Committee Chair
“The Visitation Committee's goal is to provide a means for colleagues to communicate a sentiment of genuine care and respect for members of the legal community in distress. Committee members and volunteers will visit seriously ill and dying colleagues whenever appropriate. If additional needs are identified, flowers, food baskets, a memorial gift and financial assistance will be provided and underwritten through the Carpenter Visitation and Lawyer-to-Lawyers Funds of the Columbus Bar Foundation.”
Michael H. Carpenter - Committee Chair - Attorney at Law
