To increase the quality and profitability of the practices and lives of the small firm attorneys and the solo practitioners who are members of the CBA. The committee goals are to share information and pool resources in assisting its members to learn more about the business of law; to identify specific management and marketing techniques designed for the small firm and individual practices; and to create a network of small firm attorneys practicing in every specialty and area of the law.
A Message from the Small Firm/Solo Practitioner Committee Chair
“Welcome to the Small Firm/Solo Committee. This is not necessarily a young or new lawyers group, but rather a place where those of us in small or solo practice can network, create a referral base, and learn how to enhance our practices. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker who will present valuable and timely information. As a solo practitioner since 1993 and recently the Real Property Committee Chair, I will draw upon my experiences to bring to you a Committee that will be a date on your calendar that you will look forward to each month we are in session. Participation from Committee members is strongly encouraged. If there is something you want the Committee to do, let me know. This is our Committee, be a part of it. See you at the next meeting!”
