Business Incubators are organizations engaged in the business of fostering early-stage companies through the developmental phases until such time as the company has sufficient financial, human and physical resources to function on its own. Incubators provide assistance to these companies through numerous resources, including access to capital, physical space, business coaching, services and networking connections. They have become increasingly popular among business start-ups over the last several years. This year’s Ohio State Entrepreneurial Business Law Journal Symposium will focus on the legal and economic issues facing Incubators. Distinguished speakers from across the country will contribute to panels on numerous topics including, financing, intellectual property, governance issues and incubators for law school alumni.
