TERRANCE MILLER has authored a chapter on trends played out in product liability lawsuits featured in the recent publication "Inside the Minds: Settling Products Liability Claims." His work focuses on why some manufactured goods tend to be more targeted for litigation, and how the media can often play a role in the process. Miller is chair of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur's Product Liability Practice Group.
The HISPANIC NATIONAL BAR Association organized a networking skills workshop for law students in collaboration with the OSU Latino Law Student Association. The workshop was organized by Erick Veliz, Regional X President of HNBA, and led by Andre Hewitt and Scott Linek all attorneys at Nationwide Insurance. The networking skills workshop offered students practical advice on the importance of professionalism and helpful tips on preparing for networking events. Cristina Nieves, 2L at Moritz, described the session as “a very informative event and I hope to put the skills I acquired into practice at upcoming events.”
