ROETZEL recently hosted a seminar on hydraulic fracturing with experts on shale gas development and energy. Presenters included Spencer Abraham (former Secretary of Energy), Raymond Orbach (University of Texas, Energy Institute), and Scott Kell (geologist, ODNR). The event was entitled "Hydraulic Fracturing - The Report: Separating Frack from Fiction."

Today, the OSBA will recognize the OSBA Paralegal Certification Class of 2012. PACO members passing this milestone are KAREN STONE (Slowik & Robinson) and RENEE TOMKO (Baker Hostetler). Karen currently serves as PACO’s treasurer and Renee is PACO president. The PACO certification committee that provided study group sessions in advance of the exam included Mindi Schaefer (Poling | Petrello), Nadine Valco (Reminger Co.), and Debbie Sekerak (Wiles Boyle Burkholder & Bringardner).
