BILL MATTES is the new president of Columbus Landmarks Foundation, a non-profit organization with its mission to advocate for the preservation/rehabilitation of historic (and old) buildings and to showcase the architectural significance of various neighborhoods.

Members of the Ohio Air National Guard’s 123RD AIR CONTROL SQUADRON received a Welcome Home Ceremony last Wednesday at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash Campus. The Airmen returned home May 20 after a six-month deployment to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and arrived in theater Nov. 10.

Working last Wednesday were SAMIR DAHMAN, BARRY EPSTEIN, JOHN ALASTRA, MICHAEL MARLIN, MARION SMITHBERGER and the ABC Channel Six host TOM SUSSI. “Ask An Attorney” is a two-hour public service program. Members interested in volunteering for an evening, call Marion Smithberger at 614/340.2070.
