Key Bank and PNC were named today as Prime Partner Banks by the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation. Prime Partner financial institutions have met the Foundation’s criteria for charitable giving, employee involvement, and corporate support for Ohio’s legal aid programs. The selected financial institutions also offer IOLTA and IOTA accounts- lawyer and title agent trust accounts.

The Ohio Supreme Court Judicial College hosted a seminar the Ohio Jury Management Association to learn more about jury trial management for high profile trials. Nearly 80 court personnel, magistrates and judges learned about the new Jury Modernization Act (HB 268) that takes effect May 22. Some changes include municipal courts juror fees, when to start the jury year, changes in the number of jurors, along with updating terminology.

Dayton attorney JONATHAN HOLLINGSWORTH last week became the OSBA president-elect at the association’s annual convention in Cincinnati. He will take office as president on July 1, 2013.

BRENDAN J. FITZGERALD is a new associate on the Littler Mendelson roster. He joins the firm with counseling and litigation experience in discrimination lawsuits, and issues involving Title VII, the American Disabilities Act, the Ohio Civil Rights, and the Family and Medical Leave.
