Serving Notice

Squire Sanders partner, PETER PAVARINI, has racked up more than 400 hours of free legal advice for Grace Clinic of Delaware County, a volunteer organization that operates a free walk-in medical clinic in downtown Delaware. The breadth of his volunteer activities landed him on a list of only 26 lawyers in the U.S., and the only one in Ohio, to receive a Pro Bono Champions award from the American Health Lawyers Association.

Congratulations to CAROLINE WORLEY, Worley Law, on being named a 2012 Jefferson Awards Finalist. The awards are given to volunteers who work to improve the quality of life in central Ohio.

Hahn Loeser & Parks will be named a “Leading Law Firm in Ohio” ( 2012 edition of Chambers US: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business) for its bankruptcy/restructuring, commercial litigation, construction and intellectual property practice areas. STEPHEN E. CHAPPELEAR and MARC J. KESSLER are ranked as leaders in the field of commercial litigation.

Littler Mendelson has elevated TRACY STOTT PYLES to shareholder. Ms Pyles devotes her practice to labor and employment matters involving wage and hour, discrimination and harassment, as well as unfair competition, retaliation, wrongful termination, and labor-management issues.

THOMAS C. WASHBUSH of Benesch has been named to the Association for Corporate Growth's national board of directors. He will serve a three-year term as director-at-large, September 1 and ending August 31, 2015.
