Lane Alton & Horst has named DOUGLAS J. SCHOCKMAN as an equity partner of the firm and GREGORY D. RANKIN has been re-elected managing partner. And MONICA L. WALLER is listed as an Ohio Rising Star for civil litigation defense.

The Supreme Court of Ohio certified a dozen court interpreters on January 19 at the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center. It is part of the Court's commitment to language access in Ohio’s judicial system. To date, the Court has tested Spanish, Arabic, French, Russian, Mandarin, and American Sign Language and will soon add Korean and Somali.

Weston Hurd announces that J. QUINN DORGAN has been named a partner of the firm. He focuses his practice on civil rights, employment, business and insurance matters. Quinn has served as a law clerk for Justice Terrence O’Donnell.
