JENNIFER ADAIR has a new position as Senior Staff Attorney, Office of Legal and Acquisition Services, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Dinsmore reports that CHARLES TICKNOR has been named the managing partner of the firm’s Columbus office. He will oversee 50 attorneys and 37 professionals and assumes the position from Don Leach, who has served as the managing partner since 2008.

Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease has named DAVID A. FROLING a partner of the firm. A member of the firm tax group, he represents clients before the Ohio Department of Taxation, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court.

DAVID A. RIEPENHOFF of Downes Fishel Hass Kim has been named partner in the firm, focusing his practice in management side labor and employment law.

JAMES K. LYLE, Magistrate in the Franklin County Domestic Relations/Juvenile Court, has been re-elected for a two-year term as the Treasurer of the Ohio Association of Magistrates (OAM). Lyle has practiced in the area of family law since 2000 and was appointed to the bench in 2007.
