FRANK A. RAY announces the reactivation and reopening of his law firm, Frank A. Ray Co., LPA. In a collaborative process with Chester Willcox & Saxbe, Mr. Ray has withdrawn from his partnership of five years with the Chester firm and has re-established operations for Frank A. Ray Co. He will continue to offer services as a civil trial lawyer and mediator.

Carlile Patchen & Murphy announces the appointment of MARIE-JOËLLE C. KHOUZAM as its new management partner. The firm’s executive committee also includes attorneys Bryan K. Hogue and Michael A. Smith, and legal administrator Lori L. Muetzel.

Administrative Judge CHARLES A. SCHNEIDER, Franklin County Common Pleas Court, has received the Good Scout Award from the Hilliard Boy Scout troop of the Simon Kenton Council. “Good Scouts” are selected for their extraordinary leadership, those whose contributions to the community distinguish them as role models for youth.

CHRISTOPHER L. LARDIERE has joined Eastman & Smith as of counsel, focusing on representation of financial institutions and small businesses in commercial and complex litigation.

Attention Travelers! The Clerk of Courts sends notice that the Civil Division staff is prepared to process U.S. Passport Applications. Requests for the Passport Book as well as a newer, limited travel document, the Passport Card, can be processed in the Civil Division, 369 S. High Street, 3rd floor during weekday hours. An on-site photo-taking option for a nominal cost is an added service for one-stop processing. Separate payments for processing must be made payable to the Franklin County Clerk of Courts and the U.S. Department of State. Checks are the preferred. Questions? Call a deputy clerk, 614/525.3621.
