The Columbus Bar Association and Foundation look forward each year to recognizing our senior counselors and thanking them for their fifty years of service. This year’s honorees are ALPHONSE P. CINCIONE, JOHN E. GOTHERMAN, HOWARD J. HADDOW, PAUL A. HANKE, STANLEY K. LAUGHLIN JR., HON. JOHN W. MCCORMAC, JOHN C. MCDONALD, GERALD H. SWEDLOW, HON. TOMMY L. THOMPSON, DICK M. WARBURTON JR., and EDWARD F. WHIPPS. (A special event is planned for September.)

The FRANKLIN COUNTY CLERK of Courts’ office reports total foreclosures filed through the office’s Civil Division for the first quarter of 2011. A total 2084 cases were receipted in the first three months of the current year. This represents approximately 86% of the total filings over the same time frame in 2010.

ZACHARY D. KRAVITZ has joined Chester Willcox & Saxbe as an associate concentrating on environmental law, electric, natural gas, communications, water/wastewater industries, and local government law.
