ATTORNEYS, MAGISTRATES AND JUDGES needed for high school mock trial – The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education is seeking judges for the State Competition Thursday, March 10 at the Franklin County Courthouse, 1-4 p.m. and/or 5-8 p.m. Each year more than 3500 Ohio students present an originally written, constitutionally based case as participants in the nation’s second largest High School Mock Trial program. Educators view the Ohio Mock Trial program as an excellent learning tool, in part, because of volunteers who offer authentic assessment by serving as presiding and scoring judges. Contact Addie Natalie, OCLRE program coordinator at anatalie@oclre.org or 614/485.3507. Details for the competition, review materials, times and directions, will be provided.
