Taft Stettinius & Hollister announces that KEVIN M. HILVERT has joined the firm’s Health and Life Sciences Practice Group as a Partner in its Columbus office. Hilvert focuses his practice on counseling healthcare providers on regulatory matters, including structuring and negotiating physician practice acquisitions and a variety of hospital-physician integration strategies.
BILLY C. RAULERSON, Calfee Halter & Griswold, has been elected to partnership in the firm, focusing on patent litigation and counseling clients on procuring and enforcing intellectual property rights in the U.S. and abroad.
Franklin County Common Pleas – General Division Judges nominated and approved Judge CHARLES A. SCHNEIDER to serve as Administrative Judge for 2011; General Division, Domestic Relations/Juvenile Division and Probate Courts nominated and approved Judge DAVID W. FAIS to serve as Presiding Judge during 2011.
Roetzel & Andres announced the appointment of ERIKA L. HAUPT as Partner-in-Charge of the law firm's Columbus office. She replaces Jim Petro, who will assume the position of Partner-in-Charge of Client Strategy and Service. The Supreme Court of Ohio Board of Commissioners on Grievances & Discipline has elected attorney STEPHEN RODEHEFFER of Portsmouth as its 2011 chair; LAWRENCE ELLEMAN of Cincinnati as vice chair. The Board is composed of 28 members, appointed by the Court. Four are public members, seven are active or retired judges, and 17 are lawyers from throughout the state. The board issues findings and recommendations to the Court on ethical misconduct complaints lodged against Ohio attorneys and judges.
