ALAN ACKER has been appointed probate judge succeeding Eric Brown who resigned to accept an appointment to the Ohio Supreme Court following the death of Chief Justice Thomas Moyer. Acker will begin serving on June 7 and must run for election this fall to retain his seat on the bench.

DINSMORE & SHOHL, families and friends, showed up to run the International Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, an annual fundraising marathon (and half marathon). This year 50,000 runners supported the Columbus event, ranked third largest in the world. Over 2.5 million dollars were in the count, and three-quarters of the funds raised stay in Central Ohio. The Race generates support needed to ensure breast cancer quality care and to energize science to find the Cure.

Reminger Co. LPA is pleased to announce the addition of attorney NICOLE M. NORCIA to their Columbus office. She focuses her legal practice on a variety of areas including transportation and personal injury defense, insurance defense, and domestic and probate work. Nicole also represents clients in general liability matters.
