Squire Sanders has hired five new lawyers: THAD BZOMOWSKI, for the corporate practice group; ANDREW ETTER is joining environmental, health & safety; JOHN FISHER is in the litigation practice group and first-year associate JOLENE GRIFFITH, in litigation; and TROY SITZMANN, an associate in the labor and employment group.

Bricker & Eckler announces the election of KURTIS A. TUNNELL to the position of managing partner. He succeeds Richard C. Simpson, who served in that position from 2000 to 2010.

The partners of Chester Willcox & Saxbe have elected DAVID J. BUTLER to the law firm’s management team led by managing partner Charles R. “Rocky” Saxbe.

TERRANCE MEBANE has joined the business litigation group at Thompson Hine. He previously worked for the firm as a law clerk.

DINSMORE & SHOHL LLP and Tom Fries, Sr. have formed a new company, Dinsmore Fries Public Sector Advisors LLC, a consulting group serving clients throughout Ohio.

J. MILES GIBSON has joined Wiles Boyle Burkholder & Bringardner to focus on starting and growing the firm’s employment law practice area. BRIAN M. ZETS has been named a new partner, providing counsel in all aspects of municipal government as well as employment practices and real estate matters.
