ELIZABETH KASTNER has been named partner of the firm, Schottenstein Zox & Dunn, in its health law practice group. She devotes her practice to the representation of health care providers on transactional, regulatory, operational and compliance issues.
W. CHARLES CURLEY has been named the partner-in-charge of the Weston Hurd Columbus office and AMY K. SCHERMER has been named a partner of the firm. Mr. Curley areas of practice include professional liability, insurance disputes, employment, governmental liability, commercial and business litigation, and appeals. Ms. Schermer focuses on civil litigation, construction defect claims, architectural/engineering, contract disputes, non-compete agreements, board of health complaints, Consumer Sales Practices Act violations and professional liability claims.
JAMES D. ABRAMS of Chester Willcox & Saxbe was named partner, concentrating his practice in all aspects of civil litigation with a focus on commercial matters.
Christopher Ward, an attorney at Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, has been named as Brew at the Zoo Chair-Elect on the Board of Friends of the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium.
