SUSAN RECTOR, Schottenstein Zox & Dunn partner and leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, was presented the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium Board Leadership Award, given annually to a board member for demonstrated leadership and exemplary service, furthering the mission of the zoo and taking the message of the zoo to the community.

JUDGE PAUL HERBERT has been unanimously elected by the judges of the Franklin County Municipal Court to serve as Administrative and Presiding Judge for 2010.

MICK PROXMIRE, a partner with Reminger Co., was recently elected to the Board of Trustees for Leadership Ohio, one of the top leadership programs in the country training its members to resolve critical challenges facing the state of Ohio.

Afinity Consulting Group (formerly HMU) celebrates ten years of focusing on helping lawyers use technology to automate practices. Growing from three people to 16, Afinity has developed over 1,300 clients in 32 states, serving law firms and legal departments with tech issues. Barron Henley and Paul Unger are founding partners of the consulting group.

W. ZACHARY HOLZAPFEL of Chester Willcox & Saxbe has joined the firm’s governmental relations division, CWS Governmental Relations, Ltd. as a lobbyist. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University.

LUPER NEIDENTHAL & LOGAN announces its membership in Meritas, a non profit global alliance of business law firms. Meritas membership is by invitation only, one firm admitted for each geographic marketplace. LNL is the only Meritas firm in Central Ohio.
