Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner announced the addition of MIKE RANKIN, formerly the registrar of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, as assistant secretary of state. Rankin begins his new duties on August 3, replacing Antoinette Wilson, who is returning to the private sector.

DINSMORE & SHOHL ranked 87th in American Lawyer's "Pro Bono Report," with an average of 43 pro bono hours per lawyer, 45.2 percent of lawyers providing more than 20 hours of pro bono work. The rankings were based on the nation's 200 highest-grossing firms in 2008, rated by their pro bono score.
