Barnes & Thornburg, a national labor and employment firm, is expanding into Ohio and will be led in its Columbus office with new partner, WILLIAM A. NOLAN. The firm’s new location is Fifth Third Center, 21 E. State St., Suite 1850.
STEPHEN E. CHAPPELEAR, managing partner of the Columbus office of Hahn Loeser & Parks, has been appointed to the planning committee for the 2010 Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference.

RICHARD W. ROSS, Means Bichimer Burkholder & Baker, has been elected president of the firm. His practice, representing school boards and community colleges, includes labor and employment issues, collective bargaining, student rights and discipline, public records and privacy laws, and special education.
