Carlile Patchen & Murphy has elected attorneys CARL AVENI, DAVID JACKSON and JANE HIGGINS MARX to the partnership of the firm. Mr. Aveni litigates commercial disputes and business torts. Mr. Jackson focuses his practice on general business law and tax planning, particularly for closely-held businesses; and Higgins Marx helps individuals, business owners with estate planning, business and probate needs.

LEE MCCORKLE, General Counsel, Wendy’s International Inc., has joined the CLE Program Development Council of nine, who are challenged to develop high quality CLE programs with exceptional format and expert presenters.

CLARK PERDUE & LIST has joined forces with Philadelphia-based law firm Anapol Schwartz Weiss Cohan Feldman & Smalley under a reciprocal of counsel agreement. Most recently, Clark Perdue & List and Anapol Schwartz represented more than 800 consumers who suffered heart attacks or strokes after taking Vioxx – Merck’s blockbuster drug that was recalled in 2004.
