BRIAN M. GARVINE has opened an office at 5 E. Long St. and will concentrate on civil litigation, mediation/arbitration and appellate practice.

HOPE M. SHARETT has been hired by Bricker & Eckler as an associate attorney with the firm’s bond, structured and public finance group, focusing on legal counsel to government entities.

D. MICHAEL CRITES, former United States Attorney, has joined Dinsmore & Shohl as a partner in the litigation department. He has more than 22 years’ experience as a federal, state and local prosecutor.

Representing the 10th District Court of Appeals, SUZANNE RICHARDS is reappointed to chair of the Board of Commissioners on Character and Fitness; MARC KESSLER, reappointed to the Commission Certification of Attorneys as Specialists; and Judge William Klatt reappointed vice chair to the Commission on the Rules of Superintendence for Ohio Courts.

From the Franklin County Common Pleas Court: JUDGE GUY L. REECE II will as Administrative Judge for a second term; JUDGE DAVID E. CAIN is the Presiding Judge.
