For the fourth year in a row, Schottenstein Zox & Dunn has been named in the “2008 Best of the Best: Top Midwest Real Estate Law Firms” by Midwest Real Estate News. Regional law firms are ranked based on the number of real estate transactions completed in calendar year 2007. SZD had completed 145 commercial, industrial, shopping center, land, office buildings and multi-family transactions.
CHRISTIAN D. DONOVAN, associate with Hill Allison & DeWeese, volunteers with Columbus Bar Probate Committee’s Estate Planning for First Responders project. NANCY PEKKANEN GILLETTE has recently been named General Counsel to the Ohio State Medical Association. Prior to senior counsel at the OSMA, Gillette worked at the Ohio Senate and the Ohio Legislative Service Commission.
Twenty-seven attorneys from the Columbus office of Buckingham Doolittle & Burroughs will join DINSMORE & SHOHL effective July 1. With their addition, Dinsmore gains additional strengths in a number of core areas including health care, employment, corporate, construction, litigation and estate planning law.
Bricker & Eckler has recently hired ANTHONY SHARETT as an associate serving as a member of the litigation team in the public sector and insurance, banks and financial services industries. His experience includes a wide range of litigation, including practice with the Ohio Department of Commerce handling matters affecting the banking, mortgage and credit union industries.
