DALE PERDUE and ANDY LIST have established the law firm of Clark Perdue & List Co, and will be joined by their colleague of 19 years, GLEN PRITCHARD, along with four veteran paralegals. Perdue was the founding partner of Clark Perdue Arnold & Scott, which has reorganized as a boutique litigation firm practicing statewide in the following select areas of law: injury and death resulting from motor vehicle crashes, explosions, fires, product failures, premises liability, pharmaceuticals and medical device, as well as mass torts, consumer class actions, and other claims for damages on behalf of individual investors and small business. The firm offices will remain in the Motorists Building, 471 E. Broad Street, Columbus.
LESLEY R. AVERY of Schottenstein Zox & Dunn is the first attorney in Ohio to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional Accreditation, created by the US Green Builders Council for demonstrating a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles, and the technical use of the LEED rating system used nationwide to ensure building projects meet the highest green building and performance measures.
The domestic relations firm of Sowald Sowald & Clouse announces the change of its name to Sowald Sowald Anderson & Hawley. GERARD J. CLOUSE has taken inactive status with the Ohio Supreme Court. BEATRICE K. SOWALD and HEATHER G. SOWALD were again named Ohio Super Lawyers (2008).
