SUSAN D. RECTOR, of Schottenstein Zox & Dunn and leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, has been named Executive Babe Golf Volunteer of the Year by the American Cancer Society’s Babe Zaharias Executive Golf committee. The annual Babe Zaharias Golf and Tennis Classic is a premier women’s golf and tennis competition that benefits the American Cancer Society. In its 26 year history, this event has raised over $5 million.
 
WOMEN LAWYERS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY is pleased to announce the creation of a new scholarship for one WLFC member to attend the Women in Law Leadership Academy, presented by the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession and the Young Lawyers Division. The special conference will be held in Chicago on November 8 & 9. In addition to being a great opportunity for the scholarship recipient, the information and enthusiasm he or she will bring back from the conference will benefit all members. CLERICAL HELP AVAILABLE—Northeast Career Center, in connection with the ALA Legal Career Development Committee, is currently seeking internship opportunities for students in their legal technologies program. Students are available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons during the school year, to perform general clerical and entry-level secretarial tasks; typically paid between $8 and $10 per hour.
