DON GRUBBS, mayor of Powell and a partner with the law firm of Buckley King, has been elected to the Opera Columbus board of trustees for a three-year term.”

JIM CURPHEY, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, was recently elected board chair of the Community Shelter Board and installed as president of the Columbus Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. As chair of the Community Shelter Board, he works to develop and implement strategies that decrease homelessness and increase the placement of homeless persons in permanent housing.
 
THOMAS L. HART has joined Wiles Boyle Burkholder & Bringardner as an attorney specializing in real estate law.

Chester Willcox & Saxbe announces that KENNETH A. FISHER, JR. has been named a partner in the firm. His practice focuses on representing owners, contractors, and design professionals in the negotiation of construction-related contracts and the resolution of construction-related disputes. Fisher is a Registered Architect.
