THOMAS J. BONASERA, Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, has been elected to the Ohio State Bar Association’s Council of Delegates for District 7, comprising Franklin County. The Council of Delegates reviews proposed legislation and court rule changes recommended by OSBA sections and committees; also decides broad questions of policy sometimes referred to them by the Board of Governors.
ROBERT W. MYERS has joined Taft Stettinius & Hollister as a partner, focusing his practice on workers’ compensation matters.
 
AMY RUTH ITA, associate attorney at Squire Sanders & Dempsey, has been named to the Vision & Vocational Services of Central Ohio board. The Vision Center provides rehabilitation services to persons who are blind, visually impaired or otherwise disadvantaged.
 
CORRECTION: On May 16, 2007, BRYAN BRIGHT JOHNSON of Columbus, Ohio, Attorney Registration No. 0003981, was suspended from the practice of law in the state of Ohio for one year, with the last six months stayed on condition. See the Supreme Court’s decision in Disciplinary Counsel v. Johnson, 113 Ohio St.3d 344, 2007-Ohio-2074, for additional information.
