JOHN P. CURP, a partner with TAFT STETTINIUS & HOLLISTER, has been appointed secretary of the Judicial Recruitment and Screening Committee of the Franklin County Democratic Party. Curp has a multidisciplinary business practice with an emphasis on real property, commercial transactions, land use, enterprise zone, tax issues and creditors rights.
Professor Martha Chamallas, the Robert J. Lynn Chair in Law in the Moritz College of Law, will present an Ohio State University Distinguished Lecture entitled "Civil Rights and Civil Wrongs: Race, Gender and Tort Law," on March 12 at 4:30 p.m. in the Wexner Center Film/Video Theater, 1871 North High St. A reception will follow the lecture in the lobby area outside the theater.
The BTI Consulting Group of Wellesley, Massachusetts recently identified S. RONALD COOK, an attorney with PORTER WRIGHT MORRIS & ARTHUR, as a member of the “Client Service All-Star Team.” Cook concentrates his legal practice on the representation of banks and other businesses in commercial transactions.
