BRIGID E. HEID, a shareholder at Luper Neidenthal & Logan, has been elected president of the Board of Trustees for the Legal Aid Society of Columbus for 2006-07. Heid has been a Legal Aid board member for eight years and was nominated for the board by Women Lawyers of Franklin County where she also served as president.

SCHOTTENSTEIN ZOX & DUNN is proud to announce the addition of DAVID E. KAUFFMAN as partner to its Tax and Wealth Management Practice Group. Kauffman earned his law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law.

The United States District Court is hosting a reception in honor of Mary Jones, Administrative Assistant to Judge Holschuh, on her retirement after more than thirty years of dedicated service to the judiciary. The 2006 Health Lawyers News magazine’s “Honor Roll” has distinguished Schottenstein Zox & Dunn as the top law firm in the state of Ohio and also names the firm in its nationwide “honors” list. “Honor Roll” recognition is based on a firm’s membership to the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA). Within the state, Schottenstein Zox & Dunn has the highest number of attorneys who are members of the AHLA.
